Message If the top end was rebuilt 13k ago.. Why, are you having to
do all the replacements ,,valve cover, oil pan, cam seals.
they should have been done then..

If your doing the timing belt, lower intake, turbos,, etc.
it's just a matter of taking the head bolts out...

The EGR causes some problems when older, so removing is just
cleaning up under the hood. The time to remove the upper
intake will be reduced to a very short time.

If the oil pan is off you can change the oil pump but it's
not needed unless your doing some major upgrades.
